Nor does it link to any such article either on this site or elsewhere that does.
As such I have gone as far as this article can take me, and am still a long way away from being done.

I have an issue. I followed all the steps above, but after launching Kali I get a plugin error. I tried reinstalling the entire process twice, but the problem keeps happening.

It worked, but I had a problem. I kept getting a Windows message saying there was an issue with webhelper.exe. I found the solution on another website, so I’ll post it here. Open Terminal, run winecfg, then click Add an application → Program Files/SketchUp/SketchUp2017/, and delete SketchUp_webhelper.exe. After that, everything worked fine.

Thanks for this tutorial. Nevertheless, it does not work on Ubuntu 24.04 Desktop unless you add "apt install python3-pyasyncore"
